News: President of the Philippines calls on Southeast Asian leaders to “invest in robust cybersecurity protections”

During his remarks to fellow Southeast Asian leaders, President of the Phillipines, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged them to "invest in robust cybersecurity protections" to secure the region as the fourth largest economy in the world.

In his remarks during the plenary session of the 44th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Summit in Vientiane on Wednesday, Marcos said the digital economy is the catalyst for the regions economic growth.
